Mission to Minerva Challenge 2022

The Kitbash3D Mission to Minerva Challenge runs from October 11th to December 2nd (2022). The challenge is to create either a still render or motion image using the new Mission to Minerva kit.

You just have to create a free account and download the kit.

That’s right, we can all get (at least during the contest) the entire Mission to Minerva asset pack for free. We can get it for the 3D software of our choice.

It comes in the following file formats:

  • 3DS Max
  • Blender
  • Cinema 4D
  • Houdini
  • Maya
  • Unity
  • Unreal Engine
  • FBX / OBJ

For certain file formats, you can choose specific a specific render engine you want the file optimized for.

Ok, so back to the contest…

Go to Kitbash3D.com to download the free kit in the file format of your choice.

After you download the free Mission to Minerva kit, create either a still render or animation – you just have to use at least one asset from the Mission to Minerva kit.

Then, post the image or animation to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or ArtStation and tag it with the following:

There are a couple of rules of course…

  • Images/Animations must be at least 1000 x 1000 pixels (any aspect ratio)
  • Can use any 3D software program
  • Must use at least one Mission to Minerva asset
  • No AI generated art
  • Must be submitted by December 2, 2022

Prizes

When the contest ends, judges will review all submitted works. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places. Additional prizes will be offered for honorable mentions.
